Funding Options

You are embarking on a journey with your NDIS funding, and you have three choices for how to manage it. The option that’s right for you will depend largely on what type of service providers in the area can provide access or assistance when managing these funds- so let’s take an overview!

Plan Management

Plan Management involves having someone manage your NDIS funding, like a bookkeeper. Plan Managers are responsible for managing all invoices and payments related to your NDIS plan. They will be able to review the various service providers in the area who can provide access or assistance when managing these funds. Plan Managers can also help you stay on track with your budget and ensure that you are meeting all the required NDIS requirements. Plan Management is a Service offered by us, see more information on our Services page.

Self- Managed

Self-Managed is just what it sounds like – you take full control over your NDIS funding, from authorising payments to choosing service providers (and making sure they are registered). This requires personal organisation skills and discipline, but it gives you total flexibility to manage your budget, and the NDIS will send you regular reports on how you are tracking.

National Disability Insurance Agency

Finally, National Disability Insurance Agency Managed means that an authorised service provider takes care of all your invoices, payments and budgets for you. This can be a great way to take the stress off managing large amounts of money yourself, as they have the experience and can free up some extra time for you. However, it does come at a cost, so be sure to factor this in when choosing this option.

Ultimately, choosing the best NDIS plan management will depend upon your own circumstances and what type of service providers are available in your local area. It is important to thoroughly research the different options before making a decision and ensure that you are up-to-date with the latest NDIS information. With some time and effort, you’ll be on your way to success in no time!
